Central Bank of South Sudan increases its exchange rate to SSP 57,000

Official reports state that the Central Bank of South Sudan has increased its exchange rate of the South Sudanese Pounds against the United States Dollars to SSP 57,000 per 100 USD
The Central Bank says it expects the forex bureaus and the “black market” to be selling 100 USD at 63,000 SSP
This comes as the South Sudan economic situation continues to worsen.
